POPCORN
by Orit Perlman

My Mozart wigs, my nibbly squeaks
Oh chompy, oh insatiable hoarders of salt
Oh my little pigs, my sponges of butter
My popping parachutes, my inside outs
Bowl rustlers, tooth busters, Cola guzzlers
(my indigestibles)
My funnies, my deceivers
(my little clouds)
My, how tiny time bombs fly.

Revelation
by Bradley Samore

Nothing compares to exploring the land
but what of becoming a part of it

to sit so still that lizards elope
and mate by sandaled feet on the porch

to kneel at the grave where from out of the shadows
the fox approaches unafraid

to lie on the grass as daylight fades
and birds come home to the branches above

James Evans Remick II lives in Cleveland, Ohio. His poetry chapbook is Eating Yogurt with a Fork. Now people tell him whenever they have to use a fork to eat yogurt. He doesn’t mind.

Orit Perlman: Singer, song weaver, wordsmith, goldsmith and a cake baker. My brood and I live on the Carmel where we feed organic leftovers to the wild boar just over the fence.
